Room on the Broom

This week in Nursery the children have been exploring all things related to the wonderful story book Room on the Broom! To launch our new topic, we had a visit from a witch who had forgotten the ingredients for their potion. Luckily, the children were super confident in using their YELs to help to write a list. We have dug for bones in the sand area, strengthened our bodies by tapping tees into pumpkins, bobbing for apples and playing hoopla. We have made stripy AB patterns and explored a range of yucky materials thinking about how we can describe them.
