Comic Relief Dress-up Switch Day

This event will take place between 8:35am and 3:10pm on 15/03/2019.

The children thought it would be great fun to have a mufti day with a twist – the children will come to school dressed as a member of staff and the staff will come to school in a uniform that the children have decided upon!

There will be a whole school staff school uniform check in the afternoon led by the school councillors and staff will earn house points for their teams if they have adhered to the following uniform policy:

  • A Blazer or Jacket (any colour)
  • A white collared shirt or blouse
  • A tie (5 extra house points if it is red!)
  • Grey or black trousers, skirt or dress (no patterns please)
  • Red socks or tights
  • The most colourful or silly shoes you have (5 extra house points for the most extravagant footwear!)
  • The biggest, brightest most outrageous head accessory (5 extra house points for the most sensational headwear!)

All children who come to school recognisably dressed as a member of staff will also earn 10 extra house points for their team.  Those children who do not wish to dress up as a member of staff can take part by dressing in as much red as possible or wearing comic relief sponsored clothing.

Of course everyone should be wearing a red nose!!!

Please bring a minimum donation of £1 as School Councillors will be collecting donations at the classroom doors so please ensure your child has their donation in their hand ready to give as they enter the school that morning. If every member of the school community pays £1, we could raise over £600 and this will be added to the money raised via the FOH coffee morning and treat sale after school.  Please remember to take treat donations to the studio hall after the morning drop off.

We look forward to a fun day of fundraising
