This event will take place between 7:00pm and 8:30pm on 12/10/2021
All parents/carers are automatically part of our association and we would love to see as many people as possible come along and get involved in the operation of the group. The meeting will be held remotely as many parents have told us that this makes it easier for them to attend (please click on the zoom link below to join the meeting). Involvement with the Friends of Hillcross not only provides you with an opportunity to raise money that will impact positively on your child’s educational experience but it also gives you an opportunity to meet members of the school community they wouldn’t normally meet (including staff) and to get an insight into the priorities of the school.
Our current FoH committee has been in place for 3 years, with some of them holding committee posts for much longer. However, with some of their children moving into Year 6 next school year our Chair and Treasurer will not be standing again so we are on the hunt for new committee members. If you are interested I becoming a little more involved and want to know what the committee roles entail then take a look at the ‘School Information’ section on the Hillcross website or email the current team at email@example.com.
You do not have to be a member of the committee or attend a meeting to support FoH - you can help in a range of ways from helping to run a coffee morning, staffing the tuck shop at the discos, sourcing prizes for raffles, wrapping gifts for the Christmas Market or planning a new event.
