Reception have been learning about the 1966 World Cup Final and were so inspired that they held their own tournament! Our 4 house teams competed all week, with the final being played today. This week, Team Elm have been learning about the sculptor Barbara Hepworth. Today the children created their own sculpture linked to our whole school topic. In DT,our Y2 children have been exploring and using mechanisms e.g wheels and axles to design and create their own fire engine.Linking in with our whole school topic, they compared fire engines from the 1930's and now and looked at the similarities and difference's between them. https://t.co/tMSc8bHn1qJune 20
