Anti-Bullying

 

At Hillcross, we aim to be a bully-free zone, and teach children what bullying is and isn't. We also teach children what to do if they think they are being bullied and provide them with strategies to deal with these challenges. First and foremost, they must speak out. Without knowing, we can not help, so please encourage your child  your child is being bullied or thinks they are being bullied, please contact the school immediately. There is a flow chart attached which provides guidance on what to do during this troubling times. Mostly importantly, listen actively to what your child is saying, and if possible, writes notes to refer back to when speaking to the school.
