Hillcross Primary School
At Hillcross we are committed to offering a range of extra-curricular clubs. Attendance at school clubs are booked on a termly basis via an online booking system. Parents are notified about which clubs are running each term. We work with a range of external providers who offer sports (football, basketball, athletics, tag rugby), drama, dance and science. School staff also run clubs which may include film club, rounders, Lego Club, sewing, art club, book bugs, netball, cricket and many more.
Most clubs take place after school although a small number take place before school. When selecting morning clubs please remember that children should not be left unattended in the school playground and ensure that provision is in place for them to be supervised by a responsible adult until the club leader is present.
Clubs run by school staff are usually free or incur a small fee to cover costs. Costs for external providers vary and will be listed on the booking system. The school do not accept any payments for external clubs via the school office. Payment details for each club will be either via Parentpay or made directly to the provider.
If choosing a free club, we encourage parents to choose a maximum of 2 so that all children can enjoy an extra-curricular activity if they wish to do so. Some clubs will require registration forms to be completed. These can be downloaded from the clubs sections of the notcieboard.
Details on how to use the online booking system can be found in the letter below. However, if you do experience any difficulties please let us know by completing a form, available in the school office, so that we can rectify any outstanding issues with the system. Thank you for working with us.
