Week 3
This week, as part of World Book Day, the children came in dressed in their pyjamas whilst enjoying a day of sharing books and reading. As writers, the children put on their "Green thinking hats" to create shape poems based on the theme of the topic "Under the Sea." In the poems, they explored using alliteration and a simile. In computing, they have started to use keyboards to develop their typing skills.

Week 2
What an amazing week the children have had! As part of the "Under the Sea" topic, the children used their senses via VR to dive into the depths of the Ocean. Along with this, it has been careers week, so the children had the opportunity to listen and find out about possible future careers. Finally, In PE and Fundamental movement and skills, the children have enjoyed perfecting their aim and balance..

Week 1 This week, the children took part in a workshop where they created freeze frames and took part in a discussion based on the story of Peter Pan. As geographers, the children have been using atlases to locate the seven continents of the world. Finally, as mathematicians, the children have been using concrete resources to make groups as part of their learning around division.
