Summer 1

Week 4

As artists, we sketched out ideas to represent the human form in movement. We practised creating these forms with wool, making any necessary changes. Then, using 'Bloom's Higher Order Thinking', we created our wire figures, covering them in mod-roc to add form.

Week 3

As mathematicians, we were striving for accuracy this week by using protractors to accurately measure segments within pie charts. We used a set of data to then draw our own pie charts.

Week 2

As designers, Year 6 programmed inputs and outputs using 'Crumble' software. Knowing more to remember more, children tested each other in our topic lessons using their knowledge organisers.

Week 1

To help celebrate Merton's 60th Birthday, Year 6 completed a range of activites as part of their home learning. Using their green hats, they had to choose something to complete in 60 seconds.
