Spring 1 - Week 4 - Safari World

This week we have been on Safari! As mathematicians, we have been focusing on our awareness of patterns in nature. We've explored patterns in habitats and also looked at animal print patterns. After discussing real life patterns, we also re-created our own patterns. Once we knew what patterns to look for, we became explorers and went on a real-life safari with our binoculars. We had a brilliant time!

In addition to this, as designers, we then recalled the skills of planning and creating and used these, independently in our creative workshop. We showed collaboration as we helped each other hold different materials into position and discover which joining technique was most effective.
